MYSORE SILK FABRICS
Mysore, a town in southern India, produces what is probably the finest silk in India. Originally manufactured for the Maharaja of Mysore and his family, the silk is woven on small mechanical looms using real gold and silver threads. Akshata has worked closely with KSIC, the only purveyor of the fabric in India, to develop silks in an exclusive color palette for the fall collection.
